AJ Carriage and Livery provides horse-drawn hearse and caisson services for funerals across North Carolina and South Carolina. Our white Percheron draft horses, known for their gentle temperament and striking appearance, lead the procession with a professionally uniformed driver.

Working with your funeral home
We work with more than 40 funeral homes across our network and can coordinate directly with the funeral director on timing, the route, and the arrival at the cemetery.
Pricing and booking
Funeral carriage pricing varies by distance and cemetery, so please call for a quote. We recommend reserving two to four weeks in advance where possible, and we will do everything we can to help with shorter notice.
